Close the Gaps in-Between your teeth. Remove those "Black Triangles"

Did you know that 30% of adults have black triangles, clinically known as open gingival embrasures. This is often due to bone loss and recession of the gum line, and sometimes due to tooth movement. These dark spaces between the teeth can make them look old. Food debris that causes plaque can also accumulate in these areas more than normal. In cases where the enamel is healthy, it is not necessary to place veneers to make these teeth look more youthful. Using a special bonding technique and specialized, tooth-shaped forms, we can close these gaps, improving the integrity of the gum and the appearance of your smile.

Healthy and Esthetic Gums

Bioclear is a minimally invasive and cost effective treatment where the clear forms are filled with a composite (filling) material matched to the shade of your teeth. The forms are removed, leaving behind smooth contoured composite that has a beautiful shine. The form sits just below the gum line, meaning the teeth will appear to emerge naturally. The tight contacts achieved with this system mean that the papilla (the gum tissue between the teeth) is pressed back into place, creating a healthy, beautiful smile.

The Bioclear method is effective for black triangles, as well as closing diastemas (spacing between teeth), and small or mishapen teeth, also called peg laterals.
